Seeking Space Yoga + Cupping Studio 2022 Wellness Retreat

There’s no time like island time. And no trip like one that prioritizes YOU.

 

We are elated to announce that in 2022, Seeking Space Yoga will host a 5-day wellness retreat at Koro Sun Resort in Savusavu, Fiji! Beginning August 15 to August 20, this retreat will offer activities like acupuncture (1:1 sessions + group sessions), cupping (group sessions), two yoga / workout classes PER day, in addition to other wellness topics.

Space is limited as the intimate retreat will be capped at 30 people. There will be a $500 non-refundable deposit upon signup!

Yin Training

When: September 11-November 14 
on Saturdays and Sundays at 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.


Cost: $1,650 total

Sarasvati has been teaching yoga for 17 years. She grew up learning and practicing dance, then yoga. She formally studied the neuroscience of trauma and healing through yoga, specializing in yin.

Sarasvati will be teaching a range of sections in this sequence that dive into yin yoga assisting with sleep, anxiety/depression, eating disorders, trauma, addiction, as well as neurobiology, neuropsychology, neuroendocrinology. There will also be guest teachers speaking on social justice, inclusivity and appropriate language for all genders.

Matthew works to bring a balance of spiritual inspiration and scientific knowledge into each class he teaches. For the past 20 years, Matthew has practiced and studied for personal/spiritual growth, and to be an effective teacher/healing arts practitioner. Professionally, Matthew is a licensed massage therapist and energy worker and teaches small group yin yoga, kung fu and meditation classes.

In the training sequence, Matthew hopes to bring people on an experiential journey of deep learning about the body and personal transformation. Students will learn about the musculoskeletal and connective tissue systems for teaching yoga and develop a solid foundation in pranayama and chakra meditation.
